I am a recreative artist. I stand and say I CAN paint this and recreate the scene in front of me. What comes off the brush is a pure reaction distilled from my skills, observation, training, palette, weather and gut. Watercolor, oil and some acrylics, whatever gets the work done. Cabo to Cancun, Singapore Hi Rise to my own backyard --- I observe too much and paint too little. To finish a painting a day is my goal and Tony Couch who goes from a blank full sheet watercolor paper to finished fine art in three hours is my idol.
