The Georgia Watercolor Society sincerely appreciates the Atlanta Area Teachers who encourage their art students in the genre of watercolor, and we also appreciate the students for their time and effort to participate in this Exhibition. Each year the art gets better and better! We are looking forward to seeing the 2020 watercolor paintings from next year’s senior students. GWS also thanks Golden Artist Colors, Princeton Brushes, Fredrix Artist Canvas, and Legion Paper for donating product samples for the students.
The American Society of Marine Artists (ASMA) also gave awards at this exhibition. These students’ work will be entered in the 2019 National Young Marine Artist Search (YMAS) Competition this June, and the National YMAS awards will be announced in September.
