Pat Dews, AWS – D.F., NWS
Rather than painting the realistic image before me, I paint the abstract essence of my subject. I am drawn to the abstract shapes and textures of flowers, rocks, water, bridges, old an rusted metal and crumbled walls.
In my three day online workshop, streamlined with Zoom through the New Studio for the Visual Arts, Inc. in Jupiter, FL we will cover much ground.
The main focus is design, which is everything. Through lectures, demos and design projects, students will learn how to compose paintings based on the Principles and Elements of Design. Critiques of my paintings in progress will significantly help you on your painting journey.
I love to share what I know and help make better painters.
I give 150 % and students often tell me, that they never work the same again.
There will be an opportunity after the workshop to have private critiques with Pat from her home through Facetime.
Hoping you join us for a dynamic journey.
